Crypto World Cup Finals Preview: Charles Hoskinson vs. Charlie Lee
The Crypto World Cup is coming to a close, but boy, what a competition it was!
Charles Hoskinson and Charlie Lee stormed their way into the finals and will compete this coming Sunday at 8:00 AM PT.
Justin Sun and Satoshi Nakamoto will go head-to-head on Saturday to compete for third place.
Let’s take a moment to recognize the players we’ve lost along the way.
The first exciting match occurred on Day 2 when Tyler Winklevoss and John McAfee battled it out. The match ended in a draw at 3-3, but that was the first highest scoring match of the competition.
The next match that shocked the world was when Brian Armstrong beat defending champ Roger Ver in Day 4.
Charlie Lee had a phenomenal match in Day 8 of the Crypto World Cup and beat Vitalik Buterin. Buterin is always a tough competitor but that match really propelled Lee, and he’s kept up the momentum ever since.
Day 16 was by far the most epic day of the match as both John McAfee and Vitalik Buterin were eliminated on day one of the Round of 16. Both competitors were anticipated to make the quarterfinals and possibly the semis but were sent home.
So here we are now, after many epic matches, and we have our final players.
Both competitors fought hard to get to this point, and they have one match to prove it all. In the latest betting poll via Google, it states that Charles Hoskinson has a 48% chance of winning the match. This is Charlie Lee’s first Crypto World Cup Final match ever, although the betting odds may be stacked against him – but who doesn’t love a good underdog?
Who will become the Crypto World Cup Champ 2018? It all comes down to Sunday.
Good luck competitors, may the odds be ever in your favor!
